Just BQuz, We Care

 In 2015, a brains
torming meeting to gather ideas on how to better serve our BQ community and improve utilization of our Hall, resulted in “Just BQuz We Care,” better known as the “Just BQuz” group. This group took on a “step up to the challenge and make it happen” attitude that has achieved much because of the initiative of not one, but many. Members bring ideas for service, outreach, theme events and fun projects to the table and the planning begins! The success of all initiatives has much to do with  the support of our BQIA membership and the community, through volunteering services, donations and of course, buying tickets to attend an event!

Since its inception, Just BQuz has provided the following outreach
and service events:

A Quarterly Veterans Coffee and Supplies Drive and Seneca Elementary Mid-Year School Supplies Drive;
Heart Healthy Dinner Seminars and Mental Health Discussions; An onsite Little Free Library, Puzzle Exchange, and Buy A Brick Memorial Walkway.

 The “Welcome to Bowleys Quarters” sign, (put in place by our Association many years ago) is beautifully landscaped
and maintained by our Just BQuz members. We have enjoyed many successful
fundraiser events, and look forward to many more…
Paints Nights, Themed Dinners, Bus Trips, Cake Decorating, Wine Tasting, Harvest Experience, and
DIY craft projects all benefiting our community. All of this goodwill and success is simply the result of individuals
uniting together toward a common goal.
